Ipsy Bag: March 2018

Hey guys!

I just got my March Ipsy Bag a week or two ago and wanted to talk about the products I received in the bag. I started out Ipsy in January and I really like it so far. I’ve gotten a variety of products that I have been incorporating into my daily and weekend makeup routines. At only $10 a month, it’s a really good deal because you not only get to try new products, but you get travel sized items that you can bring with you while traveling or on the go.

First Post: Behind the Blogger

Here it is!

Hello all! Welcome to my blog. As you can tell by the title, my name is Jenn. I used to have a blog titled “theblissinbeauty,” however, I decided I wanted to go a different route. My blog was originally a beauty blog, but I felt as though it was missing a large aspect of my interests. I decided to create my own personal lifestyle blog to fully express myself and likes.

I would definitely like to keep up with this blog more than my other one by posting at least twice a week. I will be posting on a large variety of topics from beauty to fashion to health to just things about my life! Just Jenny things.

I am so excited to start this new journey with you all and I hope you are excited to! For all of you who don’t know me from my previous blog, here…

Closet Clean-out!

Hey guys!

Sorry about my lack of posting for the past few weeks. I’ve been super busy with moving out of school, preparing for my internship and now working at my internship. It’s been tough trying to make time for everything I want to do, but I think I’m finally settled enough and I can get back into posting more.

I wanted to update you all on something I’ve been working on. I have created a closet on Poshmark with clothes that either don’t fit me anymore or those I don’t really wear. I have about 30 items posted so far and I am continuing to upload more items day-by-day.

I’m doing this because I am trying to de-clutter, which is something I haven’t done in so long. At both school and home, my closet is too small to fit everything, even though I would love to keep it all. I want to give my clothing and accessories to a good home, with someone has more space and will actually wear it!

One thing about me is that I’m one of those people who wear things once or twice and that’s it, even if I’m in love with it. This doesn’t go for every piece of clothing I own of course, but definitely some things!

I’m still working on prettying up my Poshmark closet with pictures and such, but I thought I would still share it with you all! Take a look around or share it with others if you want!

Thank you guys for your support and I apologize again for not posting! I am ready to blog again and I can’t wait to interact with you all in the upcoming days.

Also, if anyone has any Poshmark tips or success stories, let me know in the comments below!

Tips to Maintaining Healthy Skin During Finals Week

Hey guys!

So as you can tell by the title, my finals week is coming up as I’m sure it is for others as well. This can be a stressful time filled with lack of sleep, unhealthy eating habits and loads of stress. Even though final preparation and studying only takes up a few weeks of your life, all of these things can be detrimental to your health and your skin. It can also take a while for you to fully recover from it. I am acne prone, so this is probably my least favorite time of the year. However, I have discovered a few tips to keeping my skin clear during finals or during any stressful week throughout the school year. I have been trying these out and thought I would share it would you guys! The list is still growing, but here are a few things I have learned:
